Cari is no stranger to the fitness arena as she began her career as a competitive swimmer at the age of 10. By the mere age of 12, Cari had placed as Arizona’s first National Rollerskating Figure Dance champion! Continuing her athletic career throughout high school by participating in JV and Varsity cheer, It wasn’t until the age of 40 that Cari returned to competitive figure skating and became a coach for the first time. Her skills were such that she was able to train and coach her daughter and partner to a National Championship title!
In 2010, Cari entered the world of bodybuilding and began her training to compete. At the age of 50, she stepped on stage for her first NPC competition and competed in women’s figure. She walked off the stage with great success but no hardware to show off her efforts. Bound and determined, Cari returned to her original mentor and coach, Craig Tinnelle, and in 2014, two short years later, under the keen eye and tutelage of The TINN-MANN, Cari entered her first NPC women’s physique division and successfully brought home the hardware.
